Top Ten Books I Hope to Find Under My Tree

Top Ten Tuesday is ran by That Artsy Reader Girl

Technically, I don’t normally ask for books for birthdays or holidays since I’m the one with the Barnes & Noble membership card and my boyfriend doesn’t know how to find anything in a bookstore. But these are books I’ll buy myself when I inevitable get a gift card from someone as that is what I ask for.

regretting you
Regretting You by Colleen Hoover
Colleen Hoover has not written a book that I didn’t love. I’m actually sad this one came out so close to Christmas or else I’d have already bought it and read it. This is also the only book I did actually ask for as everyone knows my love for Colleen Hoover books. She could write a shopping list, sell it for $20 and I’d buy it.

99 percent mine

99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne
The Hating Game was a masterpiece. I love a good enemies to lovers contemporary romance so seeing that she had another book out made me stand up and do a slightly embarrassing happy dance. I need this one, like, yesterday.

cross her heart

Cross Her Heart by Sarah Pinborough
Behind Her Eyes was one of my favorite books of this year so I am eager to read the rest of her books. I have heard not so great things about this one, but I still need it.

intercepted

Intercepted by Alexa Martin
I only know a couple things about this book: it has sports and steamy scenes. That’s all I need to know.

royals

Royals by Rachel Hawkins
I accidentally read the second book in this series and absolutely adored it. I want to read it again and again, but it only seems fair to give the first book in the series a try as well. Also, it’s another contemporary YA romance which I love.

sadie

Sadie by Courtney Summers
Hard hitting YA contemporary is a subgenre I just live for. And this is peak hard hitting. I have not heard a bad thing about this book and have heard the audiobook is even better. I can’t wait to read this one.

stolen things

Stolen Things by R.H. Herron
Domestic thrillers is a favorite genre of mine and this book has been calling my name since I first heard about it. I actually just saw it at the bookstore this morning but didn’t buy it because I don’t buy myself things right before Christmas. Sad time for me.

the bookish life of nina hill

The Bookish Life of Nina Hill by Abbi Waxman
This book has gotten so much buzz this year! I keep seeing it at the bookstore and I’m itching to buy it, but just never did. I’m hoping to get it asap and read it just as quickly. I love a good contemporary romance.

the chase

The Chase by Elle Kennedy
I have loved nearly all of her books in the past, especially books in series. This is one of the only series I have not read by her and I need it in my life.

when dimple met rishi

When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon
I have been hearing amazing things about this book since before it came out, and I still haven’t picked it up. I’m ashamed of myself, don’t worry.

Have you read any of these or want to get any of them as well? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Bookish Life is absolutely fantastic and I listened to Sadie in audio a few weeks ago and it was excellent. Just like listening to a podcast 🤗
