The start of a new year is exciting. It feels like a do-over, a fresh start, and a clean slate. Especially for books. The first time you open a book in a new year, that book could be your favorite book of the year! It’s such a fun feeling, at least for me.
I’m also a bit of a stats nerd and I love keeping track of everything I possibly can when it comes to books and reading. These are just a few of the stats from this last month!

Before the year began, I talked about my goal to reach 80% on Netgalley. I started the year at 24% and ended January at 28%! It doesn’t seem like a huge leap, but I did a little math and realized I have to read around 10 arcs a month to hit my goal. This month I read 13 so I’m already ahead of schedule!
